Join the People’s Rally: Hormati Suara Rakyat Selangor

Hormati Suara Rakyat Selangor (HSRS), a coalition of NGOs, needs your support and participation to invite (and cajole) the public to attend The People’s Rally this Sunday, 23 January (4pm-7pm) at Stadium Kelana Jaya.

Time we the RAKYAT took a stand and walk the talk instead of whining, complaining, pointing fingers and telling the government to walk the talk as brilliant keyboard critics in cyberspace.

Time we went to the ground to remind our government (elected representatives by the people), “Hey, We, The People Are The Boss! YOUR BOSS, get it?”

Time we put our fears aside and do the right thing NOW to Save Malaysia for Our Children. I can’t bear the thought of leaving my children, nephews, nieces AND godchildren too to face the uncertain future created today. The future is always beginning NOW. What we do or don’t do today is the reality of the future, the legacy we leave behind for our children. “For tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today” – African Proverb.

So what is happening at Kelana Jaya Stadium this Sunday? There’ll be speeches of course but that’s not all. A little bird told me there will be entertainment for the whole family too. So pack a picnic basket, bring your family, relatives and friends. Come meet like-minded people who care and want to build a better future for their children too.

For me personally, come rain or shine, I’m taking this opportunity to tell my children at the stadium, “Hey, I’m here because I love you.”

We need to get the word out to as many people as possible to pack the stadium. How?…

  1. Forward this as an email to your entire mailing list.
  2. Send SMS and tweet it too: Join me @ Hormati Suara Rakyat S’gor Rally Sun 23/1 4-7pm Kelana Jaya Stadium show People Are The Boss. Details, facebook.com/mclm.org.uk – pls fwd on.
  3. Post the attached image of your choice on your website/blog.
Link the image to http://www.facebook.com/mclm.org.uk – so people can respond to call for volunteers too, etc etc etc.

As always mention Rakyat is the ultimate boss in a truly DEMOCRATIC run country. When the Rakyat of Selangor had choosen PR component to be the Selangor state goverment than the wishes of the rakyat should be respect. Those that being choosen to represent the rakyat should always respect those rakyat that had choosen them. When the rakyat is unhappy with the performace of the choosen rep. they can always abandon them come the next round of election.

Civil servant are always there to serve the rakyat and shall abide and implement the decision make by the Goverment of the day choosen by the rakyat by the mean of truly DEMOCRATIC election.

When we offer ourselve to be corrupted by those corrupt politician we shall have a corrupted goverment and a corrupted goverment shall breed corrupt civil servant
