After 3 months waiting, at last, the police takes action on my death threat report

Posted on Thursday, 07-01-2010Thursday, 07-01-2010 by -ec-

After I blasted the police for their lackadaisical attitude towards crime reports, such as my death threat, during Ean Yong’s press conference, yesterday night, the CPO smsed me and informed me that the police have caught a suspect and seized his laptop, and have forwarded the investigation papers to the deputy public prosecutor with a view to charge him.

I appreciate him informing me. I hope that the police will also take action on YB Rodziah Ismail’s police report about the man who hurled obscenities and threatened her with “Aku akan rogol kau Rodziah!” in September 2009 and many other police reports lodged by Pakatan leaders which the police have yet to take action on.

Man held for sending death threats to Teresa

New Straits Times, 2010/01/07

SHAH ALAM: A 35-year-old man has been detained to assist in investigations into the death threat against Selangor state executive councillor Teresa Kok.
Selangor police chief Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said the man was arrested at his home on Dec 16 but had been released on bail.

On Sept 30, the Seputeh MP received a death threat via a posting on her blog by an anonymous person called “hanturaya”.

The threat, said: “Teresa, kau ni perlu diajar dgn darah, t.kasih.” (Teresa, you need to be taught a lesson in blood. Thank you) was posted following reports claiming that Teresa, who is also Kinrara assemblywoman, had supported the call from Kinrara residents in urging the mosque to lower the volume of the call for prayers (azan) there.

Khalid said police also seized the suspect’s laptop.

He said the arrest of the suspect dispelled Teresa’s earlier allegation that the police did not act on her police report.

“We want to stress that the police act on each and every report. We can’t keep everyone who lodged police reports informed on the development of our investigations,” he said at his office here, yesterday.

In a separate development, Khalid said the crime index in Selangor went down 5.3 per cent or 54,339 cases last year compared with 57,704 the previous year.

“Of the total, 46.4 per cent have been solved.

Even though the crime index has gone down, daylight robbery recorded a marked increase with 4,634 cases compared with 2,888 the previous year.

Hope the arrested suspect will be charged soon on the death threat against YB.

Persistent urgings and constant display of dissatisfaction on delayed-investigative police reports lodged can see action being initiated without further delay, hopefully!

These bums who probably acted for some corrupted and racist politicians in BN particularly UMNO to intimidate and harass rakyat elected reps must have their balls crush and ass whack until they cant even stand up. Subsequently they should be strung upside down till death.
But, alas with our ever “loyal and efficient” police force they will probably just tamper on the their heads and let off with free and be a good boy.
Teresa, Roziah and others, just do not be scared by these bums and carry on with your good job.
We are all with you. God help them, if they fall into our hands.
