This morning I called a press conference together with a group of residents and supporters at Happy Garden adjacent to the two offending sexist caricature on bill boards erected by MCA Seputeh. In reply, we have put up a banner with Chinese and English wordings stating: “MCA uses women to discriminate women”
Some women folks who came to the press conference were most enraged over the offending caricatures which appeared in the China Press today and took the MCA to task in the presence of many journalists.
Quite a number of reporters and photographers showed up, including main stream media like the Utusan Malaysia, The Star, NST, RTM2 Mandarin News and etc.
I told the press that I was quite surprised that Carol Chew has launched these sexist carricatures on bill boards. I said I was
disappointed shocked that Carol told the China press yesterday that she did not find the caricatures as sexist or humiliating to women when it was explicitly offensive to women and moreso defamatory.
I also told the Press that Ng Yen Yen should have sent her to attend gender sensitization course before sending her to contest against me in Seputeh. I also urged Ng Yen Yen and Chew Mei Fun, being the two top heads of MCA Wanita to state their stand on these sexist carricatures.
After the press conference, when I was having lunch at about 2pm, an RTM 2 reporter called me and rush to interview me following a press conference at MCA HQ at about noon. I was informed that veteran leaders of MCA told the media that they will take down the offending sexist caricatures on all the bill boards.
At about 3pm, I was told by my campaign director Ng Chai Heng that the SPR has directed MCA to take down all the bill boards by 12 mid night tonight.
Our protest succeeded.
BRAVO!! the good prevails, and the MCA evils lose…..The disciplinary committee should reprimand the likes of Ng Yen Yen(shame to be Wanita head!!! unfortunately she is hiding in Raub, otherwise she will be defeated miserably…).
We MUST defeat Carol in Seputeh!!!!, and support Teresa all the way to win in both Parliamentary and state assembly seats….SPREAD THE NEWS to all our frens and relatives in Seputeh and Kinrara – TEACH MCA A BIG LESSON THIS TIME!!!! also we must help to defeat the useless CHEW MEI FUN in PJ Utara, HIDUP DAP!!!

now we know how taxpayers hard earned money is wasted…via spending on drawing such childish caricatures. this illustrates the level of mentality of the folks at mca. and to think that carol woman with her sickening smile, potrays herself as such an upholder all things right…is sickening to the bone. what a load of hogwash…hypocrites..pui!!

In today society, we should not allow any sexism remarks, caricatures, or any other form to any gender. This should serve as a lesson to MCA insensitive party.
Before MCA send a newbie to contest an election, please make sure the person is mature enough to stand an election an serve the community. What a shame to MCA!!!

I wonder if this carol ciku would be giving anymore ceramah from now till polling day.
Such a monumental BLUNDER not only reflects her character but also the leaders of mca who approved of such misdemeanor. Bankrupt of ideas and no concrete evidence of productivity, they threw caution to the wind with a last ditch effort at character assassination in a do or die attempt to garner sympathy votes.
Thank you mca for that embarrassing mistake. This was a hot topic in Taman OUG this afternoon when it pissed off a middle aged woman who was unsure who to vote for.

In the last sentance of your post, you said that MCA was supposed to remove the billboards by midnight 3 March, but it’s still up in Tmn Desa this morning when i drove past the New Telekom Office. They changed one of the pics with something else.
This is another “Low-Class” maneuver by the newcomer and USELESS MCA. Even with all the resources available to them at hand, the MCA waste time and money on such childish immature actions; that is not going to hoodwink even a five year old kid.
I don’t know what goes on in Carol Chew’s head, but its quite obvious that this newbie is desperately desperate and short of ideas.

MCA whether field their old or young candidates will not make any positive contribution to the nation. After all these years, they still have not grown up ! Look at Ng Yen Yen’s statement in Sin Chew today, which asked the Opposition parties to proof if any country in the world do not have inflation?! What a foolish comment, who refuse to acknowledge that we have a serious weakening economy because of power corruption & money politics !

By the way, Malaysiakini’s interview of both Chew Mei Fan & Tony Pua on national issue, Chew’s vague & wavering stands once more reveal how weak, and silly MCA can be to help in covering up lies, instead of owning up to the wrongs and undo them !!!
