Selepas menunaikan tanggungjawab saya di majlis Hari Raya di Shah Alam, saya pun mengikut rombongan pemimpin DAP pergi ke Seri Perdana, kediaman rasmi Perdana Menteri di Putrajaya.
After performing my duties at the open house in Shah Alam, I joined in the delegation of DAP leaders to visit Seri Perdana, the official residence of the Prime Minister in Putrajaya.
Ketika masuk, kami bersua muka dengan Datuk Samy Vellu ketika dia berlepas. Samy tanya saya, “Bilakah kita pergi minum?” Ha ha, dia keluar dalam suratkhabar tiap-tiap hari. Kasihan, dia sayang Dr Mahathir tapi dia “disepak” oleh beliau secara awam pula :-))
On the way in, we met Datuk Samy Vellu as he was leaving. Samy asked me when can we go for a drink. Aiyoh, I sympathise this man, he supports Dr Mahathir so much and yet he was whacked by Dr M in public. 🙂
Bersama Archbishop Kuala Lumpur Tan Sri Murphy Pakiam, Menteri Besar Negeri Pulau Pinang Lim Guan Eng , Duta Sweden ke Malaysia Helena Sångeland.
Lim Guan Eng, Lim Kit Siang dan Muhiyiddin Yassin.
Kami disambut oleh Datin Seri Rosmah, “first lady” Malaysia. Lihatlah gambar “1 Malaysia” ini. Dari kiri ke kanan: Tan Seng Giaw (Ahli Parlimen Kepong), Lim Kit Siang (Ahli Parlimen Ipoh Timur), Betty Chew (ADUN Kota Laksamana, Melaka), Lim Guan Eng (Menteri Besar Pulau Pinang), Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor (isteri kepada Perdana Menteri Najib), Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen (Menteri Pelancongan), saya, Fong Kui Lun (Ahli Parlimen Bukit Bintang), Anthony Loke Siew Fook (Ahli Parlimen Rasah).
We were welcomed by Datin Seri Rosmah, the “first lady” Malaysia. Look at this “1 Malaysia” photo.
Orang terkenal di Malaysia sekarang, Dato’ Tiong King Sing, Ahli Parlimen Bintulu juga turut hadir. Lantas, kami menjemputnya untuk menyertai meja kami. Apakah topik perbincangan kami? Sudah pasti berkenaan dengan PKFZ. Saya memang dah lama panggil dia sebagai “PKFZ man” 🙂
The man of the moment in Malaysia Dr Tiong King Sing, the MP for Bintulu was also in attendence. So we invited him to join our table. What did we talk about? Of course, the PKFZ case. I have been calling him as “PKFZ man” for long time.
Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz (memakai songkok) juga hadir. Saya bergurau dengannya dan bertanyakan di manakah bini-nya? Sekali lagi dia tidak jawab saya 🙂
Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz (wearing songkok) was also present. We joked with him and asked him where was his wife? He avoided me this question again 🙂
“First Lady” Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor telah naik ke pentas dan menyanyikan dua buah lagu yang didedikasikan kepada kami daripada DAPnya.
Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor took to the stage and sang two songs which she dedicated to the DAP delegation.
Bila saya nak tinggalkan Seri Perdana, saya berjumpa dengan Datuk Shahrizat dan kami pun mengambil gambar bersama. Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen, Dato Seri Sharizat Abdul Jalil dan saya.
As I was leaving Seri Perdana, I met Datuk Shahrizat and so we took a photo together.
Ketika kami berlepas, kami terjumpa dengan Dr Mahathir, seorang ahli politik yang susah baginya untuk berundur.
As we were departing, we bumped into Dr Mahathir, a politician who finds it diffiult to retire from politics.
way to go girl——nice photo shoot—-wont comment about certain guests as its still raya mood
Hi MP Teresa,
Nice pictures! I was there to shake hands with PM but they don’t allow phototaking! 🙁

Thank you for your translation from Bahasa to English. You know my Bahasa is half-past-six. Nice pix, witty comments although I think you are a bit cheeky.
Hi Madam,
I glad to see the “muhibbah” photo which you shared with us!
During raya festival, we will be celebrating by puting any political differences aside.
But when during “work”, we will be fighting like a RAMBO to free the world!!! 🙂
Kudos to U..Madam..
Cheers,
