I paid respect to the late Tan Sri Robert Phang in Xiao En Center yesterday. I met his wife Puan Sri May and family members, and an old friend Tian Chua.
Tan Sri Robert Phang was a member in the advisory panel of MACC in 2009. When Teoh Beng Hock died mysteriously in the premises of MACC in Shah Alam in July 2009, Tan Sri Robert has been openly criticizing MACC.
In the memorial service cum forum of Teoh Beng Hock in KL Chinese Assembly Hall, he openly donated RM50K to the Teoh Beng Hock Trust fund to pay for the education and expenses of TBH’s child.
Tan Sri Robert Phang was a concerned citizen. He has been very generous to many poor and needy during his life time.
May his soul rest in peace with the Almighty God in the better place.
