Tonight I attended the Guan Gong’s anniversary dinner in Wei Ling Temple (威灵庙）at Happy Garden.
I attended the temple’s dinner every year. On the stage, I spoke about the aging problem of our society. I urged the temple committee to organise more activities for senior citizen in the area.
I greeted the participants from table to table. Many were happy to drink and took photos with me.
The Wei Ling temple and the worshippers are not only my constituents, but also my neighbour.
The MCA Seputeh leader and my former opponent in General Elections, Bannie Chin was sitting in the same table with me. We have become friends and work together after the formation of Unity Government.
