Beautiful Cambridge
Malaysian post graduate students in Cambridge University
Malaysian students in Cambridge University. The Indian guy on my right is Dr Peter Jesudason. He is a cardiologist and a Malaysian, graduated from Cambridge medical school.
I have been invited to speak in a seminar on Burma by the Danish Foreign Ministry and NGOs that work on Burma in Copenhagen on 30th October 2007 (Tuesday).
I then took the opportunity to fly to London on 25th October, so that I can visit some Malaysians and friends in London, and do a bit of sight-seeing, cos that was my first trip to UK.
I was very impressed with Cambridge with its beautiful historical buildings, and I was very impressed the college system in Cambridge University too.
Below are some photos with some Malaysians in Cambridge. I forgot most of their names by now, sorry :-((, but I remember these smart and friendly students in my blog by putting their photos up 🙂
Four of us are Malaysians, photo taken at one of the colleges in Cambridge University.
The beautiful quiet chapel in one of the colleges in Cambridge.
I stayed at this couple’s house. I am very impressed with the traditional simple and tidy British house.
Malaysia Hall
These are the present Malaysian student leaders in student union. I hope they will become future leaders of the country that fight for democracy, justice and human rights

This is Zee Kin, second year law student in London. He took care of me on the night before I left for Kuala Lumpur on 3rd November at London. We had a drink in a restaurant Picadilly. I find the pumpkin and the halloween atmosphere quite a fun.
Good to see you so relaxed!
Yes you look relaxed. Perhaps you knew there were no SB guys behind your back.

Was in London at about the same time as you. Thought I saw you in Picadilly but wasn’t sure. Now I know you can be anywhere.
Weather was getting too cool, wet and gloomy and I didn’t enjoy this trip. Anyway got my errands done and its good to be home – to the rains and gloomy weather here. Can’t have it all.
We are all human beings, not robots.
We need time off to rest & relax.
