Today, I paid my respects to the late Pope Francis and signed the condolence book at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Bukit Nanas, Kuala Lumpur.
I have always admired his deep compassion for the underprivileged and the marginalized. He truly lived out his calling as the servant of the servants of God, right until his final day.
These words of St. Paul to Timothy — ‘I have fought the good fight…’ (2 Tim 4:7) — echoes the legacy of Pope Francis’ servant-hearted life.”
