Yesterday Lim Kit Siang, Liew Chin Tong and me went to pay respect to the late Kerk Choo Ting, the former Chinese educationist and former deputy minister of Gerakan in Nirvana Memorial Centre.

Kerk died of colon cancer. The last time I met him and his wife was in Kerk Kim Hock’s wake in Melaka. I did not know he has suffered from colon cancer even at that time.
Kerk’s wife said her husband has been following the announcement of polling results closely on 9th May, and Kerk was very happy and relieved to see Pakatan Harapan won the elections.
RIP. May his soul to rest in eternal peace ……
