Traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Seremban is cheaper
KUALA LUMPUR : From 12.01pm onwards, there will be no toll charges at the Kuala Lumpur – Seremban Expressway and Salak Expressway at the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza on the North-South Expressway, said Director-General of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) Datuk Ir. Ismail Md Salleh.
According to Ismail, with the termination of the concession period, toll charges at all entry points at the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza reduced from 1 to 50 per cent (or between RM0.40 and RM1.70) depending on travel distance and vehicle class at the same time making it cheaper.
“The termination will thus benefit almost 130,000 vehicles using the toll plaza on a daily basis.
” Users who pass through the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza will only need to pay the tolls within the PLUS Highway alignment they are passing through, “he said in a statement today.
LLM advised consumers to get new toll rates via the website at www.plus.com.my or PLUS Mobile App app.
“Consumers are advised to comply with travel and signage rules provided during the toll plaza to ensure smooth travel to the destination,” he said.
