Today I am attending the seminar of Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Yesterday when i came to KLIA to take flight to HCM, I then realized that I was the only MP from Malaysia because the two UMNO MPs who were supposed to attend the seminar could not make it as they have to attend other important programmes in this weekend.
This is the first time for me to attend IPU meeting, since I am alone here, I am also the Head of Delegation of Malaysian Parliament

Today, I made an intervention in the afternoon session on climate change. I spoke about the of climate change faced by Malaysia, and the steps taken by Malaysian government and Parliament to handle climate change and to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Ha ha!! This is the first time I spoke as government’s representative in an international forum. The advantage of being a sole representative of the Malaysian Parliamen.
