Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at USJ 16

I organised my first Hari Raya open house in Kinrara constituency two days ago at USJ 16.

I was a bit worried about the turnout of the open house initially as it was organised at short notice. However, MPSJ councillor Chia Kwai Loy and the USJ resident association USJ16 helped made the night a success.

It was well attended, the YDP of MPSJ and two ustaz from the mosque and surau at USJ, i.e. Ustaz Suhud (Masjid Al Madaniah) and Ustaz Nawawi (Surau Nurul Ikhsan) also came to grace the function.

A number of young school kids came to ask for my autograph. I was surprised that they know about me, thanks to the ISA detention 🙂

This is Cikgu Ahmad Idzam from PAS Puchong. He contested against Satim at Sri Serdang during March 2008 general elections but lost by 45 votes. He was the first speaker for that night. He spoke with anger and he strongly condemned those who twist and turn the facts and put me under the ISA. He delivered a good speech.
