As I told you yesterday, I went for a few functions on 6th July, Sunday. One of the functions is the launch of DAP Line Dance Club at Sri Petaling.
I was very surprised and impressed to see so many women when I stepped into the Sri Petaling community hall at about 11.30am. This is the work of the Line Dance Club chairperson Wendy Loh and Jeffery Lee, a party member. The two have worked very hard to make this club and event a success.
When I addressed to the participants, I said that it’s time for the DAP to reach out to those who like light and easy activities like singing and dancing. In the past when the DAP was in opposition, it was rather hard for us to organise acitivities like this and to get so many women to participate in our acitivities. However, more people dare to come close to us we became government.
This line dance activities will be organised in many areas in Klang Valley, especially in constituencies under DAP in Selangor. Activities of the DAP Line Dance Club will be announced later.
Politics is not always serious and hard. Sometimes, political involvement is fun too.

See, I turned to the wrong side, I am really a poor dancer:-)
The woman in black T-shirt is Wendy Loh. She was the one that organised all the women to join line dance. One look at her you will know that she is a good lead dancer and an active woman. The woman with white coat at the right hand side is Jenice Lee, ADUN of Teratai.
The man sitting next to me is Mr C C Wong. He has been our staunch supporter for many years.
The man on the right is Ng Chai Heng (my elections campaign director), next to him is Jeffery Lee (organiser of the DAP Line Dance Club), the gentleman on second left is Datuk William Tan (one of the sponsor of the line dance club, the man who is standing at the back is Gary Chong (my PA at Kinrara service center and MPSJ councillor).
