KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 (Bernama) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says investigation on cases of negligence as reported in 2010 Auditor-General’s Report is continuing.
However, Najib who is also Finance Minister said that no parties have been made officially responsible for the negligence.
“No Ministers, Deputy Ministers and officers have been made officially made responsible for failure to comply with financial regulations, management, acquisition at high prices, not value for money and missing the target,” he said in a written reply to Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah).
Fong wanted to know how many Ministers, Deputy Ministers and officers were made responsible and specific cases and action, including investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
Najib said the Public Services Department (PSD) director-general had issued a letter to the secretary-general of ministries, heads of federal departments and state secretaries to follow-up action on issues raised in the report.
Other directives including action against officers involved and reporting the progress to PSD on a regular basis every two months, he added.
In a written reply to a question by Teresa Kok (DAP-Seputeh), Najib said RM137.1mil was allocated to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) for Malaysian Road Record Information System (Marris) from 2007-2011.
“In 2007 some RM29 million was allocated, 2008 (RM30 million), 2009 (RM28.6 million), 2010 (RM30 million) and 2011 (19.5 million),” he said adding the allocations were given via the Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing.

Najib says no one or any party is responsible for any negligence, he specially mentioned that all his supporter and lackeys are not in any way found to be responsible. He has to say so, as of now, as he needs their support to stay as president of Umno and thus will remain as P.M.. You don’t need the brain of a primary school student to know his ulterior motives behind his utterances. I think it time he stop insulting the intelligence of the people and shame all the devils in disguise.
He has learnt well from his mentor, the grand son of the pariah from Kerala, the shenanigan Mahathir. He too was good at that tactics, for the shenanigan Mahathir too was very good at this, please for the sake of the people come out openly to support all the Umno candidates in the coming GE and see what will happen to them.
How to fault any of the govt.guys from top to bottom when they treat the tax payers’ contributions to belong to them. Every year, the AG’s reports of abuse, misuse and mismanagement by them and since no appropriate actions taken against the perpetrators, it becomes a norm. Our anti-corruption agency is as old as CPIB s’pore and ICAC HK. If it had operated without fear or favour, our agency would have put an end to all those controversial issues plaguing the country.
