” On 21.11.2016 at the parliamentary proceedings at the Dewan Rakyat the Member of Parliament for Pasir Salak by the name of Dato’ Sri Haji Tajuddin Bin Abdul Rahman (‘the said Member of Parliament’) made an unprovoked verbal attack against me in the following words: ‘yang Seputeh ni keh, keh pasal apa. The only woman with a ‘cock’ is in Seputeh.’ The act and words used against me are, inter alia, uncouth, vulgar, insulting, offensive, sexist and utterly outrageous. This has insulted my modesty as a woman.
I have taken legal advice from mylawyer and have been duly advised that the act and said words used by the Member for Pasir Salak is a criminal offence under Section 509 of Penal Code. I am further advised that such act by the said Member of Parliament is not protected by the Parliamentary Privilege and as such, I would want the matter to be investigated and the said Member of Parliament to be prosecuted accordingly.
Further and on the contrary, the excuse given by the said Member of Parliament that the above mentioned words he used was only referring to my surname makes no sense whatsover as the exact word he used (as per his own transcript of the video) was “a” cock which is unequivocal in that the word ‘cock’ is a noun and that’s why he uttered “a” cock which clearly denotes the male genital and certainly not to my surname “kok”.
