It is just too shameful that after 54 years of Indepence and ruled by the BN government, notwithstanding of the education policy and plans, our young generations has got ‘lost’ and feelings of unsecure of their future to be a Malaysian.
Neither the government failed to restore the new generations a strong confidence, it was the principals not be able to direct the hopes and dreams of the people.
The global has change and more knowledgeable and talent nations has emerged to compete with new creative and ideology as to improve the standard of livings inclusive freedom and justice. They appreciate with open minded on merits results and proof of capablity in varies aspect to build a good nation.
Unfortunately, our young generations has not seen nor has a sence of confidence of their future to be a new Malaysian. They may ask what the Malaysia can do for them and not what we can do for Malaysia !
It was a pretty sad to be heard every where but nevertheless did the government take the initiative on their voices to overcome such dialema and sence of lost by these young Malaysian.
In conclusion we must go on CHANGE and instill new concepts new idelogy to suit the new chanllenge and inspiration of the people.
As long as the central gov ignores the development for rural rakyat after election, and only giving some short term “gifts” (tar some important roads, building temporary bridge, Solar project with no-mentenance-option, etc), rakyat will eventually lost their trust …
Furthermore, wasting tax payer $$ in “Projek IC” for phantom voters, land grab in Bakun Dam project and other kind of programes which makes the East Malaysian felt being niglected and disrespect by the Penisular… this will cause the natives to hate the Malayan based politicians.
Another area is the education text rarely include the unique East Malaysia ethnic culture and history respectfully… which makes the West Malaysian always made fun of saying the East Malaysian are living on tree top! – The people in E.M’sia (be it bumi, or non-bumi) had enough humiliations from the Penisular and starts wondering if they were fool by the Malayan & Singapore to form a nation in 1963!
Malaysia was formed in 1963 with the four partners… before that, the Penisular was only called Negara Tanah Melayu…
Therefore, stop calling Malaysia had independence since 1957.
