Hi friends, these are old pix again. Aiyer (sigh), I just don’t have time to upload these nice pix on my blog earlier.
However, the first DUN sitting in Selangor from 22nd to 26th May since Pakatan Rakyat government came to power is quite a memorable one for all the ADUNs and excos. And as you know, we have created history by having live-telecase of the sitting via our website. The state government has spent RM300k for web-casting, but I think it is worth while as this shows our accountability to the voters and rakyat.
Sultan of Selangor walked in to DUN building after attending the inspection ceremony outside DUN building.
The man sitting next to me is YB Datuk Hasan Ali, PAS exco. The woman next to him is his wife. We were at the bench watching the inspection ceremony of the Sultan of Selangor.
This is my seat in state assembly chamber. How do you find my headgear? Does it look like “songkok”?
These are the opposition ADUNs sitting opposite me. The man on the left is Khir Toyo, the former Selangor Menteri Besar.
Selangor state government frontbenchers.
Some of our ADUN group pix, this pix is no good, but no choice, this is the best that I have.
Barisan ADUN DAP in Selangor.
Departure of Sultan of Selangor after he delivered his opening speech in State Assembly.
You look good. Actually the uniform looks para military and not “Malay-ish”
I know a lot of DAP hard core supporters and a lot of China pek have a beef against songkok.
I have to say again, the songkok is innocent. The problem is the racially imbalance formulation and implementation of various policies at all levels of the government level. It cause resentment in non-malay society and hence the songkok is the scape goat.
Theresa, you’re photogenic!
Can I use them as screen saver on my computer?
