This is the line up of Selangor state exco.
Dear friends, my blog and Facebook account have become cobweb for past two weeks. I have not had the chance to even open my email for past two weeks. My life becomes much more busier after swearing in as state exco, so many people want to see me, besides government business, I am also trying my best to meet the constituents in order to thank them and build rapport with them.
So, if you don’t hear from me from Facebook and email, very very sorry lah. I am trying my best to please and meet the needs of everyone here.
Why are we worried about pigs?
Oh ya, on my previous posting that has sparked of controversy, where I have innocently displayed a photo of roast pigs on the blog. Frankly, I really don’t understand why are some people so sensitive about pigs and pork. I have seen pigs running around in Malay village when I travelled to Tumpat at Kelantan few years ago. I always told the BN MPs in Dewan Rakyat that pig is a creature of God too.
Yesterday, the Selangor state exco meeting approved a RM100 million modern pig farm in Selangor. I felt so proud to see this decision being approved by our state excos. The exco who in charge of agriculture port folio is Yaakob from PKR. He is an expert in the field of modern agriculture. I told the excos in the meeting that let the Selangor modern pig farm be an example to all other state governments.
Below are some photos taken on the day when we swore in as exco of Selangor state government.
The four Chinese excos in S’gor state. This photo taken at the request of Chinese Press. Fr left: Ronnie Liu, me, Elizabeth Wong & Ean Yang Hian Wah
The Selangor sultan’s close relatives and me. They advice me to wear baju kurung to palace in future, they said my blouse is a bit short. What do you think?
Indian members and supporters gave garland to we new excos outside the palace. They are so sweet.
I like the last photo, Chinese and Malay excos celebrated by Indians. I hope the Indians of Selangor will be well looked after
ya-lah, you got so much portfolio that you need an investment bank to handle it. we readers of the blog mus understand the teriffic workload you have. Hope you now can get a budget to hire more able helping hand.
As for the piggy thing, it’s a great start to move a lucrative farming activity into a modern era.
I thought you have forgotten about your own blog. Understandable that you have to be on the tip of your toes with the barrage of commitments after being elected.
Would be great if you update the blog every now and then.
oh, about the blouse. Nope never too short for me. If it can fit into office spaces all over Malaysia, then I don’t see the problem.
Dear,YB Teresa koh.
Congratulation on your victory on this election on both parlimen and state seat. And on your appoint of the senior exco in selangor.I hope YB can help our chinese in solving many problem faces and cannot be resolve or dont want to help by previous goverment.
I hope YB.continue to give fair, justice and unite to all malaysia races regardless any race.I hope for future malaysia can be a developed country just like singapore, hong kong or taiwan. For a united malaysia malaysian.
Please we dont want conrysim or benefit one races only nor we want a hardline islamic state,i just want a unite, fair treat and democratic justice for malaysian in malaysia.
Thank you.
KEEP ON GOING .
Dear MP,
As a male professional from Sabah, I am always proud to see lots of ladies in Parliament, and wow, what a handsome lineup of ladies too, especially yourself and Elizabeth.
However, I am unhappy and think its rascist for whoever and whatever position they are in Malaysia to tell others especially our lady MPs how to dress officially. Do we all have to look like Malay ladies in baju kurung or follow the strick dress codes of Talibans?
As long as our ladies dress up modestly, ie. no showing of cleavage or try to show off sexy stuff, that should be ok. And there should be variety in dresses to prove that we recognise multiracial and multicultural heritage of Malaysia.
It is time we the Rakyats tell off all those bigotic and double standard leaders to shut up. How come all the ladies in Badawi’s official parties are all dressed up like some sordid parties in the west and that was okay? Enough is enough. When are the leaders of malaysia ever going to wake up? Didn’t the result of last election taught them enough lessons?
Also, with the bz schedule of all the blogging MPs, would it not be a good idea if u get partimers to assist you to maintain this site. All we want to know would be what is going on, something like a brief official diary. For me, it makes me proud to be informed that our MPs are doing their job, unlike those BN MPs from Sabah who are know to spend more time at the golf and jackpot clubs instead of attending the those who elected them.
cheers and may god bless all our new MPs
Mdm,

Time for Kesas to widen and also find an alternate exit for 511B.

When is this sense of perceived threat among the Malays going to end?
Anyhow, good luck Teresa!
Your portfolio seems much more bloated compared to other exco members; there must be a lot of juggling to do!
***Satim Diman who won with razor-thin majority of 45 votes is now the Selangor Deputy Opposition Leader, thanks to the ingenuity of Toyo. With you having been fighting for the people over a number of issues involving Satim, it must be a great spectacle to see you two sparring in the Assembly Hall.
The kebaya (blouse) is okay but the slit on your sarong is a NO. I saw on TV, when you step out to the Sultan, your leg could be seen. Perhaps the palace people were being polite to not mention the real reason why your kebaya was not the suitable choice. So, a baju kurung is the safer and more suitable attire.
I agree with you that pigs are God’s creation and there are okay. I am a Muslim and I support that the farm use modern methods to cut down on pollution and possible spread of disease.
WAIVING PARKING COMPOUNDS BY PREVIOUS STATE GOV.
It is sad to know that Selangor Government is not following Penang and Perak to waive parking compounds from the previous government.
It the first place, I think there is something not right with the way parking compound were issued in Selangor.
For instance if someone didn’t display a parking ticket, they will be compounded for RM100, but if someone display an outdated parking ticket, they will only be compounded for RM30.
The possible reasons when a car didn’t display a parking ticket. 1. they refuse to pay for parking ticket. 2. they forget to display a ticket. Since parking fee at RM0.50 to RM0.60 is relatively low, many people probably forgot about displaying a ticket.
However, when someone displaying an outdated ticket on their cars, it is very obvious they are cheating.
So, in Selangor it is a more serious offence if you are being forgetful than if you try to cheat your way through. Is this in line with being fair and just?
In the first place, a RM100 compound for any parking offence justifiable?
you look pretty in your baju kebaya!!! seriously!
Dear Teresa,
I just thought of something that I just have to say to all Malaysians regarding this topic.
There is more to the topic of how our MPs both male and female must dress.
And I must PROTEST if the ladies are only allowed to wear baju kurung or kebaya…. this would appear to me as having “udang disebalik meee”
As long as the type of dress you wear are not provacative, I request, or rather DEMAND to the government that all the ladies be allowed to dress in different style and fashion. This not only represent that we truly recognise our multi-cultural heritage, but all of the pretty MPs have a role to play economically.
I just remember that whatever the late Princess Diana wore in public, it immediately became a fashion.
Thats why she was popular not only with the press but with the fashion industry.
Meaning you lady MPs are now public properties and you are the role model for all of our young women.
Now please do not tell me that you can only model the dresses from one race and culture. That is another form of discrimination.
Lady MPs please voice this out, otherwise that will be another big issue next election and I will certainly campaign against the party which continue to practise this discrimination.
Please… I beg of you, modernise Malaysia which will be good for our future, both morally and economically.
Oh, and the same for the Males to. They should be allowed to model male dress too, not just the very boooorrring coats and nexties… thats western culture.
Mahathir once said, “buy british last” but when it come to dressing, he and all the rest of UMNOputras has been “buying western first”
Stop this nonsence once and for all.
i feel u had done a good job and show us that you believe in whatever u r doing and u have my support. the last few weeks i have been reading a lot of people r very unhappy with the leadership of ummo.well my 2 cents advise to them is change him, just like what the DAP theme says.sometimes i wonder what the PM wants to do?he got 2004 to 2008 to change something or do something, but he did not.and now after losing 5 states,he wants to repair the damages.can someone just tell him, enough time have been given and is time to to say good bye
