I have seen (partially because the streaming on my PC was jerky) your Cantonese speech on the trickery of the EC. Good work!
I think that there is another important facet that must be tackled in addition to this problem (perhaps after reforming the EC) and that is the Speaker and his Deputy.
What is needed are a Speaker and his Deputy whose characters are beyond reproach, non-partisan and sincere.
They must also be seen to be practising these qualities.
Both must also be approved by both the ruling party, AS WELL AS, the opposition.
As it is the opposition is all but rendered ineffective because anything that they brought up that is embarrassing or detrimental to the government is thwarted.
So, I hope that this will be the next important project for the opposition.
