Today is the opening of the parliament sitting. It started with the opening ceremony of the parliament at the Dataran Parliament by YDP Agong. I arrived prior to the arrival of PM.
I sat behind former TPM, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. He sat next to Mahfuz. He looked so lonely, pity him. Last year he sat next to YDP Agong during the ceremony, but today he was sitting with the backbenchers and opposition MPs.
The interesting part is, he was accompanied by Lim Guan Eng and Azmin Ali and the rest of us when he was walking to the Dewan Rakyat. None of the UMNO and BN MPs walked together with him.
My assistant Edmund Teoh has taken a few photos of Lim Guan Eng and some of us when we walked from Dataran Parliament to the Dewan Rakyat. To my surprise, these few photographs have gone viral in the net a few hours later. May be the photographers were too busy with PM and the King at that time and they forgot to capture the more interesting photos at the opposition site.
