I met the Minister of Defence, Hishamuddin Hussein Onn during the Malaysia Day celebration hosted by the Malaysian High Commission in London on 14 September 2015 in the hotel that I stayed. I did not get invitation to join the celebration but I went into the party out of curiosity when I came back from dinner.
I told his wife that I hardly see him in Parliament sitting but now I met him in London. I also told him that if he has any issue to raise in the Parliament, he can do it through me, because he is at the front bench and I am at the backbench. I can say the things that he can’t say. 😁💥 Ha ha!!
It was great to see many Malaysians in the Malaysia Day celebration in London. There was no fear of the Red Shirt Rally there. Everyone seemed so happy to meet each other in the function.
I have a feeling that London is like the “second home” to many of the UMNO’s important leaders and business people because I saw them in my hotel and some places in London.
