Moderation

Posted on Sunday, 14-09-2008 by Teresa Media

After assessing the pros and cons and the high risks involved, every comment will be queued for moderation with immediate effect until such a time when we feel it’s safe to reverse the decision.

We do not want reckless and provocative comments slipping through and getting Teresa Kok into further trouble.

We hope you understand we are standing on very thin ice.

Thanking you for your cooperation.

* Your comments could take anywhere between five minutes to 24 hours to be approved.

    When we truly use our God-given common sense
    The current wave of drastic action doesn’t make sense
    When certain people choose to use their own sixth sense
    Please don’t simply deem them to be speaking non-sense

    Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
    Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
    Leave to thy God to order and provide;
    In every change, He faithful will remain.
    Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
    Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

    Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
    To guide the future, as He has the past.
    Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
    All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
    Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
    His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

    Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
    And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
    Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
    Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
    Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
    From His own fullness all He takes away.

    Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
    When we shall be forever with the Lord.
    When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
    Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
    Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
    All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

    Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise
    On earth, believing, to Thy Lord on high;
    Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways,
    So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye.
    Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine
    Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

    There is no need for paranoia. We have nothing to be afraid of. We have done nothing wrong before, and we are doing nothing wrong now.

    Now it is up to Anwar and the Agong to free Teresa and all the rest of the ISA detainees.

    God does not take sides in human disputes.

    Long Life Teresa Kok. They can put you behind the bar but they cannot incarcerate your soul. We will stand for your freedom.

    You should have thought of this moderation long ago before it was too late.
    It started with the 5 roast pig being displayed during the victory dinner. My comments was moderated when I commented on this. Some of YB’s supporters maybe the cause for YB being detained under ISA.
    The residents who submitted the petition to the mosque was the main cause. Please do not involve YB in your personal problems. She has bigger problems to solve where it involves the whole commumity and not just a few of the residents. Just because you voted for her , does not mean you can complain to her anything you dislike.
    I have stayed beside a mosque and I have no problems. One should respect other religions, race and we will have no problems.
    My sympaties for YB and hope she will be released as soon as possible.
    The residents who sent the petition should experience what YB has to go through during detention. Imagine you are not used to food, sleeping arrangements etc.
