The 16th DAP National Congress is finally over today, new leadership has been elected by the delegates who came from all over the country.
It’s such a relief …..time to have party!! 🙂
A few comrades analysed to me the reasons of my vote ranking in the CEC election is lower than the party election in 2008.
They said the major reason is due to my position as National Organising Secretary (NOS), a time demanding post. I then to agree with them.
As NOS, I had to make some difficult and unpopular decisions, and sometimes I had to endure the predicament of being misunderstood, and accused of being biased by some state and branch leaders. Also, I certainly was not able to run around as much as I wanted.
Not that many people know that I took up this position in 2008 due to some unavoidable reasons and in the larger party interests.
A friend sent me this sms yesterday: “Congratulation for making through the top 20 despite so much negative news against you.”
He was referring to many lies, falsehood and the political attacks on me in the media over the last 2 months.
I feel relieved that I am no more NOS, now I can channel my energy on other party matters, especially election preparation.
Good luck to the new NOS, Sdr Anthony Loke 🙂
Thanks to the delegates for voting me into the CEC and my colleagues for electing me one of the National Vice Chairpersons.
Dear YB Teresa,
The Residents of Rhythm Avenue Apartments (USJ 19 Subang Jaya, Selangor) would really appreciate it very much if a few of our Residents’ Association Committee members could meet up with you to get your advice on the problems we are facing with the Joint Management Body (JMB)for our apartment.
Could you please let us know when we could meet up with you at your Service Centre or any other venue that is convenient for you? We believe our apartments are within your constituency.
There are about a one-thousand apartments here which are built over The 19 USJ City Mall.
Thank you.
