I went to Dataran Merdeka to greet the Green Walkers at about 4pm yesterday.
I was surprised to see police started to set up road blocks to deter people from entering the area.I then asked my driver to drop me along Jalan Kuching and walked to Dataran Merdeka. Many young people with green T-shirts were already there. I then spotted a former MCA woman senator Datuk Kian Sit Har with green T-shirt standing with some friends at the barricade. We then took a picture with her. I remember she was slammed by UMNO after she openly participated in Bersih 3.0 at Melaka, I hope she won’t be targeted this time.
It’s great to see many young faces in the gathering. Wong Tuck has become a Green Hero now. He can still speak with “umh!” and strength after walking for so many days. That impressed me.
When I went back home, I have to lie down in bed for half an hour, then only I have strength to do other things…..I can’t imagine if I walk for days from Kuantan to KL, I might be on wheel chair by then :-pp
When I found out the Green Walkers will camp at Dataran Merdeka, I went to visit them there.
I was happy to meet the monk who has walked for 13 days from Kuantan to KL. He looked so thin and fragile, but was so spirited when I saw him at 10.30pm yesterday.
Another 71-year-old lady, Ah Mei, who walked all the way from Kuantan also looks healthy, she said this is due to she is a vegetarian.
Hi hi….. This is lesson for all…
