I took children to walk around Taman Kinrara 3 for the mid-autumn festival programme.
When one of my staff went to police station to collect permit, he was warned by the police that no speaker can talk politics at the event last night.
Well, we were there just to have fun with the children, not to talk politics anyway…so we just tell “grandfather’s story” lor…LOL
I told them the story of how moon cakes were used to relay messages of how to overthrow the cruel Yuan Dynasty by Zhu Yuan Zhang (the then Emperor of Ming Dynasty).I believe these children will remember that they have walked with me (awww…saya shiok sendiri kikiki) with tanglung in hands when they grow up 🙂
the children must have fun! i missed playing with tanglungs… those were the days when we were still kids.
