I delayed attending the exco meeting today in order to attend protest rally on “defending Chinese education’s right” organised by Dong Zong outside Parliament House yesterday morning.
It was drizzling but rain stopped at abt 11am. I was thinking of greeting the crowd outside the Parliament House, but in view of the delay of the rally, I decided to meet them and said hello to them at Padang Merbok, the place where they gathered.
I was informed by the protesters that they were not allowed to hold banners that have Wee Ka Siong’s photo, so to tone down the political flavour of the rally.Well, MCA has slammed this rally for two weeks, Wee Ka Siong’s insincere and arrogant behaviour is what made the Dong Zong leaders and Chinese educationists angry. I think Dong Zong leaders are very kind to him in this rally.I took some photos with the protesters and then rushed for exco meeting in Shah Alam.
This is first time that Chinese educationists and their supporters have gathered outside Parliament to defend their rights and voice concern over mother-tongue education.
I am very upset with the way Wee sabotaged the school land given to Chinese schools. Good for him to be whacked by so many people. Time for him to repent.
