Residents in Sri Petaling suffer from low water pressure in last 4 months. This problem is chronic from 5pm to 11pm. Some of them force to take shower at midnight because there is very little water coming out of the pipes.
I explained to the residents that all these happened not because there’s not enough water in the dam, but because of the old piping system that cannot withstand higher water pressure, or it will burst, like what happened at the pipes at Bukit Gasing area few days ago. All these are the faults of Syabas, that’s why Selangor wants to take over Syabas.
I pity them…… I just hope that the federal government will set aside political differences and help Selangor to take over Syabas and restructure the water companies in the state.
I think one or 2 months of the salary of that top big shop would have solved the problem?
with this kind of delivery system, Stalin would have shot the Syabas head
Yes.
In fact, the old pipes burst as regularly as clockwork.
The Federal Government and their cronies are only good for scams and extortion.
If not for the savvy and street wise leaders in the PR, a water shortage scam would have been perpetrated in Selangor.
They were blaming the shortage on lack of dams when the fact is that it’s due to lack of treated water from the treatment plants.
Fifty over years of scams, cons and scandals.
Malaysians have it up to their eyebrows in frustration with them.
Next GE will see the last of them.
Water situation at Jln Wan Empok sucks. Syabas head should come stay here and endure the suffering residents have gone through. Let’s see if he enjoys having no water to bath, pee and poo. Syabas must buck up and rectify the water situation or get out of the business and let others who can do it better take over the job. Don’t talk about Vision 2020 if basic commodity like water cannot be supplied. My maid said there is more water in her kampung in Indonesia than in Seri Petaling,WP, Malaysia. SHAME on you “Syabas”!
