Sdr Fong Kui Lun, on left, with Sdri Teo Nie Ching, Chan Huan Guan and I at the press conference at Parliament’s lobby.
Not long after the allegation made against me for mishandling of funds by my former volunteer assistant who was accompanied by Nibong Tebal MP Tan Tee Beng, Tan has launched another attack against Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching’s personal assistant Chan Huan Guan of receiving kickbacks of up to RM18,000.
I called a press conference today together with Teo Nie Ching, Chan Huan Guan and Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun to whack Tan Tee Beng for his false allegation against us.
Teo said she was puzzled by the allegation made by Tan as the points in the allegations published in the newspapers are contradictory and vary and no evidence has been produced by Tan.
Teo challenged Tan to prove Chan’s alleged guilt and if it is proven, Teo will urge the DAP to take disciplinary action against Chan immediately.
Teo and I further demanded Tan retract his accusation and apologise to Chan immediately if he cannot provide evidence to support his malicious allegations.
At the same time, I highlighted to media about the false allegations made against me on or around April 2012 wherein Tan has assisted my former volunteer assistant to report me to MACC. However, until to date, there is no investigation has been carried out by MACC against me.
Obviously, this is yet another of Tan’s lame political moves to undermine DAP MPs’ integrity.
If Tan Tee Beng refuse to retract his statements against Teo and I, and if MACC doesn’t charge Tan Tee Beng for loding false police report, Teo and I will take legal action against Tan for defamation.

Teresa, this is how UMNO/BN going to “win” back the states under PR!
By all sorts of lies and deceits!
By turning former staff and members into turn-coats!
What these turncoats are doing is something very deliberate and not a slip of the tongue thing.
By all means give them a chance to retract and apologise.
But in future, such deliberate acts must be dealt with in the most severe manner.
Regrettably, there are many Malaysians out there who have no integrity and principles and are easily “turned”.
Perhaps times are tough, but that’s not and excuse for such acts.
