Liow Tiong Lai is urged to answer the public’s query with honesty over buying the car registration plate “WWW 15”
Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai must respond to the public demand for transparency over his mysterious action behind the RM24,200 bid for the car registration plate “WWW 15”.
While Liow has tried to frustrate public query by saying it is for his new official car, his answer is unacceptable because the RM24,200 is not his grandfather’s money but taxpayers’.
A Finance Ministry official was reported to have said there is no fund allocated to ministers to purchase vehicle registration numbers for official vehicle usage.
As such, it is imperative that Liow Tiong Lai explains who has made the payment for the plate because the bid was reportedly handled by his officials.
Liow must explain if the ownership is portable and personal to him since he has mentioned that the number 15 has sentimental value to him.
I want the various ministries to come clean and let the public know if any of them had made any other such bids in the past and whether it is government policy or ministerial prerogative to get vanity plates for official vehicles.

This is only further proof that this Liow Tiong Lai is only interested in the glory the post of a minister. He is really ‘Liow’ this time round.
It also shows what these bunch of Umno lackeys are, first he was sent to lie that the police never threw tear gas bomb at Thong Seng Hospital and now he lies that the money used for the purchase of the car number came from the government. When the government is telling that there is never any budget for that particular purpose.
I bet he is now shitting in his pants and also cannot sleep at nights since the purchase of the number WWW 15. This the end results of being a lackey of Umno ! Especially so when it is so near the GE, another nail for the coffin to seal his future in the cabinet. Retribution for seeing out his own race. The porn artist cannot save you not to mention saving his position in MCA.
This LTLiar changes to a new car and now wants a favorite number, both to be borne by us the taxpayer’s money.
In contrast, LGE retains the old car and number used left by his predecessor KZK, without incurring anybody a single cent, notwithstanding the fact the he is also entitled to the so-called privilege.
As a taxpayer myself, the next time I c the Liar, I’ll throw an egg or two on him.
as a rakyat malaysia, i really do not understand why should people with like LTL should be allowed to bid for the WWW car plates? why fight with other rakyat malaysia? i am not trying to offend anybody, but do they really need to have that special car plate? money come from all taxpayers. i do not think that he was born rich. even so, i don’t feel that is right for him to do.
Now he says JPJ gives him the number for free.
1) If he does not need to pay for the number, it means he is depriving someone else the number. Or, his colleague from MCA in JPJ is in cahoots with him.
2) If he gets the Ministry to pay for the number he is abusing Government money.
3) If he pays with his own money, rakyat ask why he has so much money
This is worse than being being between a rock and a hard place.
