Hundreds of pieces of scaffolding came crashing onto 3 houses in Jalan Klang Lama on 21st May 2012. The scaffolding belongs to a building which is located right beside the houses which were affected. I was told that they are already building their 22nd floor. Thank God that no one was injured in this incident. It happened around 3pm, when a sudden strong gush of wind managed to push the scaffolding off the building. I was able to talk to the project manager of the building and he told me that they have come up with a compensation agreement for the affected houses. I also conveyed the grouses of the residents there, saying that the contractors work 24hours non-stop. The project manager assured me that he will look into the matter.
