The next Dewan Rakyat sitting will be from 11 October – 15 December 2010. I will submit my Parliament questions for the Cabinet to answer soon.

Suggestions from members of the public, especially those living, working or schooling in Seputeh are very welcome. Please suggest by commenting below. Each question should be very specific and directed to a specific ministry to get a good answer. In 40 words or less, written in BM.

Deadline: this Saturday 18 September 2010.

Thank you.

    I would like to know why the Government is buying arms from the black market, to what purpose as we are not at war with our neighbours. It was reported in the Malaysia-today a day before Hari Raya.

    Dear YB,

    Current PM has promised A new building and a bus for SJKT Bestari Jaya during Ijok by election. But until today nothing has happen Can you ask this to him.

    Form 3 students given automatic promotion to Form 4 regardless of their results. Have the ministry done any research on the impact of this promotion on the education system at large. Does it help in capacity building especially the weak students. Probably the social problems among students may have accelerated because of the policy. It could have been better for all the weak students to be chanelled to vocational training after their PMR.

    Thanks YB. Please continue your (pakatan ) great work

    Kepada Menteri Sumber Manusia, Kementerian sumber manusia,

    Selamat Petang!

    Terima kasih,

    Yang benar,

    I live in Seremban and I am not your constituent. However, I would like to consider raising this question:

    “Why is so much money wasted in Negri Sembilan putting up posters, banners and billboards with the MB’s face during each festive season.” The moneycan be more fruitfully to help the poor.

    Dear YB,
    Mengapa PKE(Palm Kernel Expeller)begitu mahal sekali.
    Terima kasih

    Dear YB,

    Please ask immigration why employers of housemaid have to pay penalty of RM250 when the maid ran away. It is already hard and troubled enough when they ran away but when employer reports to cancel the permit employers are penalised for RM250 instead. If report not lodged, employers are not allowed to apply for a new one. Doesn’t make sense. Are employers suppose to tie their maid when they are off duty so that they won’t ran away? Even then, how do employers know when they are going to run?

    I am from Puchong but I believe I speak for rhe rakyat of malaysia.

    What is the Ministry of Housing doing to help the rakyat who have been victimised by unscrupulous developers?

    A single housebuyer may be cheated of RM2000 to RM3000 by a developer. That developer may have cheated thousands of housebuyers. The amount may run into millions of ringgit. It thus becomes viable for the developer to engage lawyers to intimidate the housebuyers. However, it is the reverse for the house buyer. It makes no economic sense for the housebuyer to hire a lawyer to engage the developer to recover that singular sum. Lawyers too, do not represent the whole lot of housebuyers due to several complications.

    Can the Ministry of Housing help the rakyat to enforce the contract between the housebuyer and the developer?

    If the Ministry fails to be able to assist the rakyat, can our elected representatives assist?

    Thank you.

    I would like you to enquire from the Minister of Health about the Private Healthcare, Services and Facilities Act.(PHFSA) This Act states that doctor’s clinics should have idiotic specifications like the height of the ceiling, how the door to the toilet etc opens.

    In reality, the Ministry’s enforcement officers are collecting money from doctors and blackmailing them. This Act is designed to milk doctors off their income.

    Worse still, how come Najib has allowed the development of 1Malaysia clinics to be established where HAs diagnose and treat patients. This is illegal under the Medical Act 1971 that clearly states that anyone pretending to be a doctor will be jailed.

    What sought of double standards is this. If a HA can run a clinic, so can a medical graduate from an unscheduled medical school.

    This con game has to stop and we are banking on you Teresa to bring this up to Liow. Meanwhile we will continue the anti-BN campaign in our clinics to influence patients and advise them to vote against the BN. If you want the votes of doctors and their patients, please raise this in parliment. Thank You.

    As taxpayer we are paying for the parliamentarian, do you think there’s productively in serving the people or country. Don’t you think it’s a waste of public’s money, for them spend so much of time in political warfares, Perkasa, TDM, Utusan etc. etc. We are all sick and had enough of such racial link affairs in the our parliament. It makes sick every morning reading the newspaper about these issues.

    As parliamentarian, can they be more answerable or accountable, for our taxpayer money, for wasting so much of valuable time.

    Can we request for a gag order and ensure that all the goons get back to business in serving the people & country.

We, the people, are so sick of him and his gang of toyol-busters that every time we see photos of him, we throw up. Teresa, pse do us a favour, raise this topic in Dewan.

    What are doing to prepare for the food crisis that’s coming our way. Record heat and rains have ruined grain crops in Russia, India, Pakistan and Canada. Grain also affects meat prices as almost all animals we eat consume grain. What are we doing to reduce our dependence on rice imports?

    Malaysia has just too many holidays….now we have Sep 16 gazetted as a public holiday, can we now de-gazette Aug 31 as a public holiday? Since both refers to the same Independence day? Well maybe only in Malaysia where we have 2 independence days.

    Matrade used to have grants / financial aids for SME biz, until recently where the officer there mentioned that everything (grants/aids for SMEs) have stopped, maybe until next budget time in Oct, or most likely next year 2011.

    What happened, has the gov’t run out of money to aid local SMEs?
    Local SMEs have always been the financial backbones of many countries, providing jobs to the countries’ citizens.

    YB Teresa,
    As part of a growing matured near retirement population, it is a concern that if all employees are to retire at 55 years now in most private sectors, it will be a waste of resources as we can still contribute productively to the companies and economy.
    Applauding recent govt move to increase retirement age to 60 years, this move should also be implemented in all private sectors without delay.

    Secondly,we should have a separate category of loan meant for education of our children at special interest rate and easy payment terms for those who are not qualified for JPA or any other private organizations/companies scholarships.
    The banks should set up a separate education fund for all elegible students to further their studies locally and overseas. Currently, we can only apply for personal loan and overdraft facilities which are at higher interest rates and too commercially driven that it is a burden on us parents to repay the education loan.

    Please raise these questions in the Parliament

    Dear YB,

    Question for the Education Minister. We want to know “exact details about the minimum passing marks for all SPM subjects. Also ask what are the minimum marks for our SPM students to get an A? Lets be transparent. No hiding information”

    It seems passing marks for Mathematics can be as low as 15 marks. True or not? See this article Malaysia Today: The only problem in Malaysia: “One man who has been marking the SPM exam papers says that the passing marks for SPM Matematik can be as low as 15 marks !!!! This is really shocking. 15 markah saja boleh lulus Matematik SPM !”

    And I want to repeat Dian Abdullah’s question for emphasis because it is very important. We cannot have UMNO youths brandishing lethal weapons when they lose the election:

    “Dian Abdullah
    I would like to know why the Government is buying arms from the black market, to what purpose as we are not at war with our neighbours. It was reported in the Malaysia-today a day before Hari Raya” (actually some time ago we already heard of it)

Ask why 99 per cent of Barisan MPs dont even know why they are in parliament. Ask Dewan why 100 per cent Barisan MPs talk drivel all the time.

    YB Theresa,

    Berkaitan isu yang sedang panas sekarang ini, isu rasuah di kalangan pegawai dan kakitangan Jabatan Imigresen seperti dilaporkan akhbar. Persoalannya, apakah tindakan KDN untuk menyelesaikan isu tersebut;

    1. Sistem Jabatan Imigresen telah collapse dan masih tiada sistem yang betul-betul mementingkan keselamatan;

    2. Timbul masalah pembolosan di Depot Imigresen KLIA, diberitakan pihak pengurusan imigresen telah berulang kali melaporkan kekurangan kepada KDN tetapi tiada tindakan diambil, apabila berlaku pembolosan, Jabatan Imigresen dipersalahkan, Depot diwujudkan pula sebagai suatu Jabatan, balasan yang tidak adil kepada Jabatan tersebut;

    3. Isu rasuah di Jabatan Imigresen diberitakan juga disebabkan oleh skala gaji mereka yang terendah berbanding jabatan-jabatan kerajaan yang lain, dan kekecewaan mereka kepada sistem yang diamalkan Jabatan tersebut kerana campur tangan orang ketiga seperti yang ditimbulkan ex-IGP;

    4. Kawalan imigresen di pintu-pintu masuk negara hanya wujud sebagai simbol, pegawai mereka tidak dibenarkan menyoal sebab dan kelayakan orang asing yang mahu memasuki Malaysia, akibat kepentingan sesetengah ahli politik;

    5. Hampir kesemua cabang urusan imigresen boleh menghasilkan duit kepada kerajaan dan kepada orang-orang yang berkuasa terhadap Jabatan itu, terutamanya orang politik;

    6. Imigresen bukan lagi berorientasikan keselamatan tetapi lebih kepada penyambut tetamu, kehendak pelancongan, justeru mereka itu tidaklah sepatutnya diletakkan kesalahan kepada mereka;

    7. Salahguna kuasa berleluasa di Imigresen akibat campur tangan politik yang berkepentingan. Hal ini akan berterusan selagimana orang politik (Menteri)diberi kuasa mengarahkan Jabatan-jabatan tersebut di bawah Akta-Akta terlibat, tidak seperti di Singapura.

    8. Jabatan Imigresen adalah jabatan terbuka, pegawai-pegawai atasan dari skim PTD sering bertukar menyebabkan banyak perancangan tidak dapat dilaksanakan.

    Harap YB,ketengahkan isu ini dalam masa mereka sedang dipandang rendah oleh masyarakat kerana fungsi mereka masih diperlukan, cuma jabatan itu patut dirombak dan kajian menyeluruh dilaksanakan bagi mengelakkan isu yang memalukan negara ini berulang. Jika suatu masa dahulu PDRM dikaitkan dengan isu integriti, maka suatu kajian dan suruhanjaya penambahbaikan ditubuh, adakah isu yang melibatkan imigresen ini akan hanya didiamkan. Sewajarnya, jabatan itu dirombak secara total demi keselamatan dan imej negara.

    TK YB…

    I’m a teacher from Klang. Recently I read a news from Straits Times about The Killing Of Pedigree Dogs by Kuala Langat Enforcement Officer. Even the photo of the pity dogs been published in NEws Paper. I’m sure you aware of it. I’m very ashamed by this action beacause it’s barbaric and unjustice to animals. I’ve spoken about this to YDP Kuala Langat Council En. Razak bin Jaafar but he refuse to talk about this to me well. Then I done a police report against him the next day because his action cruel to this animals. The point here, as parlimen member would you raise this problem ( Animals right ) at parlimen so this kind of cruel thing did not happen in Malaysia.
