This morning I went to Jinjang lockup centre to give solidarity support to all the Bersih activists and elected reps who have been arrested by the police before and after the Bersih 5 rally.
I met the parents of our DAP ADUN Howard Lee and comforted them. I also saw MB of Selangor Azmin Ali and other elected reps outside the Jinjang lockup.
I saw some UMNO and red shirts guys at the other end. Thy said their friends were victims of the police arrest. They came to give support to Jamal Yunus and the UMNO Youth exco, Datuk Armand. They chatted with me politely and even took photo with me.
I dont understand why the police put Maria Chin under SOSMA detention but only detained Jamal Yunus for a few days, as Jamal has imposed so much threats of violence and bloodshed in the last one to two months.
We all must continue to fight for the release of Maria and all other activists.
