Yesterday afternoon I went to Melaka to pay respect to Kerk Kim Hock, the DAP former secretary-general and the former MP of Pasir Pinji and Kota Melaka.
His wife was still very sad, she cried and hugged us as we arrived at his house.
Kerk looked peaceful lying in the coffin. I felt relief to see that he has left this world peacefully. Now he won’t suffer from pain anymore.
I have “walked” with him in the last part of his life journey. I communicated with him a lot, we talked about politics and the Christian faith.
In the last one year, he always text me messages to ask me to pray for him when he purged non-stop and felt painful. I will then forward his message to my Intercessor friends to pray.
His departure from this world was a bit sudden. He was OK when we met him two weeks ago after his surgery in the hospital in Melaka. I believe Kerk didn’t intend to leave this world so early.
But anyway, Kerk is in eternal peace now. RIP Kerk…..you are always on our minds.
