Today I rushed from a program in Seremban to Dataran Merdeka to support the #TangkapMO1 rally organized by the university students. I was happy to witness a rally organized by the local Malay students in Dataran Merdeka on the 1MDB scandal issue.
I was also happy to be able to meet with many NGO friends and like-minded Malaysians who love to see justice be carried out in this country, particular on the 1MDB issue.
All the speakers were students and no NGO persons or politicians were invited to give speeches today. The rally ended at 4.30pm peacefully.
Teresa,
You are indeed a dedicated M.P. Deep inside he knows he is no getting the support of the people who voted or should I say who protested by voting for the only truly opposition party in the country. I might add to say they are just protest votes and not votes for a mad rabid dog like him. Now that AI is in jail he is turning his focus to the decades old nemesis, the Umno made Malay, for support. What wouldn’t he do to be seen he is the opposition leader ? Especially a man who had him locked up for his views and actions. Please remember all the votes he got were protest votes and not votes from his true supporters. Just wait and see what will happen in the coming election he has jumped from Malacca, to Perak and then to Johore. Where else would he be able to jump to next ?
