Today is the long awaited nomination day for the 13th General Elections of Malaysia.

As you know, this time I chose to contest in Seputeh parliamentary seat and forgo Kinrara state seat.

I am happy to seek another mandate on my old turf now as this is the constituency when I started my elected representative’s career.

All of us are very happy to see Registrar of Society (ROS) finally gave to the DAP the letter to approve us to use Rocket as symbol in the elections. Yesterday, besides Lim Kit Siang, many of us, including me, were also very upset and in tears as the Rocket symbol may not be used.

My opponent in Seputeh is Nicole Wong from MCA. When Nicole Wong and I were in nomination centre, I was surprised to see her and her proposer and seconder wearing the BN “1 Malaysia” blue uniform. It is against the dress code stated in the rules of Elections Commission. After our protest, EC officers brought some vests for them to put on, to cover the party symbol on their clothes.

I told the press that this is the “Sisters Fight”. :-))

I am glad to see more women participate in politics and in elections. We can always be friends even though we are from different political parties.

I hope there will be no violence in the elections campaign because many of these trouble-makers from UMNO Seputeh have changed their voting address to Lembah Pantai to save Raja Nong Chik.

When the reporters asked me whether I am afraid ROS will take action against the DAP after the elections I said there’s no case against the DAP CEC elections at all. That’s why it is important for DAP to win more seats to capture Putrajaya, so that we can save DAP and save the nation. 🙂

    One thing is certain.
The more the scums try to throw the spanner into the election machinery of the DAP, the worse the outcome will be for them!
For the simple reason that the electorate is now well informed of what they have been doing the last fifty-six summers!
It’s a certainty that they will be annihilated in GE13!!!!!!!
