Today we all have been alerted about the possibility of parliament dissolution this morning.
MB and excos supposed to have exco meeting at 10am this morning. However, we all have been affected by the press conference of PM that was just held.
At 11.30am, MB adjourned the meeting for a short while and we all watched the live telecast of PM’s announcement at cafe room next to the exco meeting room.
So…..finally, we saw Najib read out his announcement of parliament dissolution with a solemn face. From the TV screen, we saw DPM and all cabinet ministers listened to PM’s announcement with solemn faces too.
Finally, the D-day has come…
At the end of Selangor exco meeting today, the 4 women excos took photograph together.
The appointment of 4 of us as excos for Selangor has put Selangor in the Malaysia Book of Records, ie first time in the history of Malaysia where 40 percent of the excos of a state government are women 🙂
The four of us, namely Elizabeth Wong (PKR), Rodziah Ismail (PKR), Dr Halimah (PAS) and me, have been working together in the past 5 years. We have argued over people’s issues in meeting, but we also have laughed together in many occasions. We have gone through many challenging time together in the PR state government.
We pray that in PRU13, there’ll be more women candidates throughout the country. And of course, 4 of us hope to get the mandate of the people again 🙂
Please come forward to help us. Let’s change Malaysia!!
It’s good that they have brought on GE13.
At long last, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
And believe me, it’s a darn long tunnel!!
The wonder of it all is : Why it takes so very, very long for Malaysians to see through the ploys of UMNO/BN?
Shouldn’t the May13 ’69 incident have started all the alarm bells ringing?
Yet, landslides after landslides were handed over to the greatest devil in the Devil’s Party!!!!
Can anyone imagine that?
Perhaps their propaganda machinery has been very effective, especially their MSMs.
Now, it’s Putrajaya or bust!!!!
Teresa Kok,
Best wishes to you in the coming General Election.
Will you still be standing in Seputeh and Kinara?
You know why all the cabinet ministers looked so solemn ? All of them know the end of their journeys on the gravy train has come to an end. To some immigrating abroad is inevitable and must do so before the GE is held before they get impeded from leaving the country !
