WITH “snowflakes” covering the ground, the White Winter Wonderland at I-City in Shah Alam has been turned into a playground for the children.
There was no real, snow, nevertheless, the children had a fun time throwing fistfuls of polystyrene beads into the air.
To add to the winter effect, there were Santa Claus, a snowman and LED-lit sculptures of reindeer and fir trees in the wonderland.
Outside, a 15.24m tall LED Christmas tree — formed by intricate lights in the shape of snowflakes – lit up the City Walk.

And that was not all. The trees in the 72-acre integrated commercial township were also adorned with programmed LED lights to create the snowfall effects.
“Our LED-lit Christmas tree, among the other attractions, showcases I-City’s technological capabilities,” I-Berhad deputy executive chairman Datuk Lim Kim Hong said.
He added that about RM3mil was spent to create this White Christmas and the long-lasting LED lights had low carbon footprints.
The public can experience the White Winter Winterland from 7pm to 10pm on weekdays and 7pm and midnight on weekends.
