“Backing Pakatan, regardless”

Posted on Sunday, 22-11-2009 by Teresa

I spotted some very inspirational words in a status message from a Facebook friend, “Sun Line” and I wish to share them with you. After all the setbacks we have had, this is a real shot in the arm for us.

Sun Line will continue to back Pakatan, regardless. He may have slapped Pakatan a number of times but that’s just to keep it on its toes. To him, the BN is a lost cause, a damn fiasco, a bloody big time con job.

Pakatan, even at its worst behaviour, is better than BN at its best. And that’s a fact. We criticise Pakatan only because we set very standards for it. We wanna reach for the stars, and if we fail, we still want the sky. And the sky is supposed to be the limit. But we have to be realistic. We cannot afford to help destroy Pakatan now by launching endless demands. What does not kill Pakatan will make it stronger. And we should give it a helping hand.

For every Hee Yit Frog Pakatan has, BN has many more warts. Pound for pound, Pakatan reps are punching above their class.

There is NOT a single country in the world that has had a change of government and the new government is *perfect*.

    YB
I agree with Sun. Having lived under BN and Pakatan Government, I find Pakatan politicians are more receptive to criticism and suggestions. In short they are more sensitive towards the needs of the people. And this is just State administration, imagine a Pakatan ruled federal Government. So, more to come. Malaysian should wake up to this fact.

TOE THE LINE….this is the key word for PR representatives. People want to see a united front fighting for common cause in the best interest of nation. PR must get ready before GE13 deadline. Representative like HEE YIT FOONG may got richer but recorded in history as the worst example betrayed people wish for change. Focus on candidates selection based on qualification, not solely years of service in the party. DAP has spiritual leadership under YB Lim Kit Siang.
I always write in blog comments that PR will be there in Putrajaya coming next GE13.

Whatever you have put in your blog has been in existance for a long time….just that after the last GE, we saw a drastic shift in votes denying the BN of their two thirds majority! We all should thank the great Tun to have set the launching pad for such things to happen….even without Tun, change was already on the way for Malaysia! In short, this is the price the ruling colition has to pay for 50 odd years of “comfortable” ruling with a bunch of Rakyat at their behest!

What they (those in the coridoors of power) need to do now is to pack their bags and leave at the nearest “EXIT” sign, failing which, they have no other choice but to “EXIT” in disgrace when their misdeeds are exposed!

My parting shot to the present ruling colition….leave before it’s too late because change is just around the corner!!!!!!!!! Want to learn it the hard way….TRY!!!!!!

I am with Sun Line, and I am absolutely sure that those who voted PR in GE12 will continue to vote PR in GE 13. Malaysians, regardless of race, has just started with their voices for change, and will not give up the battle half way, no way, unless the PR Government in Selangor screwed itself up.

Remember, this does not mean, that those in Pakatan can be lulled into complacency, that is your greatest folly! It is good that those in BN continue to destabilize the Selangor Government, that will keep the PR people on their toes and be alert always. Besides, it will make the Rakyat sick of them and hate them even more, and that makes PR the beneficiary of such hatred!

PR is lucky in the sense that they are the Government in the more industrialized states in West Malaysia. With the high literacy rate, the advantage is with PR because the Rakyat know what is going on behind the spins from the MSM especially Berita Harian and Utusan.

Well done, Teresa and keep up your good work!

Your are right Sunline, even Barack Obama is facing a tough time with the Republicans when it came to his proposed Health Care Bill, so it is more of period of trials and errors, which as this new coalition trods along, will make it even stronger. Concentrate on the women, they will definitely make change come faster. Get the young, smart and talented ones who can speak to come a give politics a try, you will be suprised at the kind of response you will get from the public when these brave girls take on the corrupt and the cons.

When pro-UMNO supporters are challenged by today’s headline making issues, they usually end up being cornered. Then you’d either be brought down to their level arguing based on racism and illogical nonsense, or ignore them.

There’d be a wave of BN voters in GE13 who are shocked to think they may lose their ketuanan ‘tongkats’ with the impending PR forces. Those are the ones who regretted voting PR to teach BN a lesson of humility. And the ones that regretted having not voted at all. Thinking the Chinese will take over the country should BN fall.

So to all PR voters in GE12, we must further open the eyes of our friends and closed ones. If you have not voted in GE12, just think how your vote could’ve made GE12 impact much greater. GE13 is where you must vote to maintain a two-party gov at the very least, nevermind if BN should fall by then.

Even if the Barisan bastards were the only party left in the country, I would still not vote for them. A party that has scums like Toyol doesnt deserve any support. Period.

Barisan bastards can jail me, torture me using Gestapo tactics, kick me, spit at me, throw shit at me, but there is one thing I will never do: Vote for these bastards. We have had enough of racism, lies, bigotry, jingoism, idiocy, stupidity, and most of all corruption for the past 40 years. I used to vote for these bastards out of fear. The catch phrase of Peace, Stability and Continuity rings hollow now. The last straw was this scumbag Toyol. Now you bastards can never scare me again. Because I am immune to your puerile threats. I will never, repeat NEVER, vote for these bastards again. NEVER AGAIN, you bastards. I pray the people of Selangor of all races will throw out these bastards for good this time. This is the real One Malaysia. Teresa, keep up the good work. We need real Malaysians like you.

Thank god, the most progressive and cosmopolitan state in the country is in good hands. Thank god we have people like Nadzmi, Hannah Yeoh, Teresa Koc and khalid ibrahim to lead us. But we msut not let down our guard. We must continue to be vigilant against Barisan terrorists who will never rest until they wrest back Selangor. We the people must resist. We must continue to be united. Giving back Selangor to racists and the corrupt will surely be the end of a beautiful dream. Selangor has been gang-raped, plundered, stripped of most of its assets, stripped of its dignity for too long. Let us crush Umno once for all in the next election. Let the Barisan bastards lose not only their deposits, but their pants, or skirts, as well. We must not let our hubris lull us into a sense of complacency. Barisan bastards are capable of using every apparatus available in the state machinery to bludgeon Pakatan into submission. Barisan bastards have shown how evil they can be when they use the heavy artillery of the state against the people of Perak.

that is why I am pissed with some malaysian voters, for a little mishap with PR, a little saree, blender or sack of rice from BN, they go racing back to BN

    – ask the Bagan Pinang chaps etc

imagine this scenario. woman been abused, beaten, insulted by her hubby for years and she met a new man who pledged to do better for her

she divorced her husband and went off with the new man.

barely a month into her new blissful life, the new man commented slightly about the lack of soya sauce in the soup, she wailed, kicked up a fuss and ran back to the abusive bastard

Malaysian voters need to understand the limit of the powers of PR as they only hold state government power.

decades of centralisation by BN (er…not unlike the spirit of MALAYAN UNION) has rendered state government with very little power

Yes, Pakatan Rakyat government is definitely better off in all aspects of governance i.e Competent, Transparent and Accountability compared to BN.

Despite the obstacles assembled by the BN to block PR’s good governance in every aspect of PR’s day to day adminstration, I would say that Pakatan Rakyat had done their moral and ethical duty to the rakyat and the state.

The MSM is being used by the BN to their maximum advantage to discredit PR but the rakyat is well aware and would not succumb to these lies.

52 years of BN’s fraud , mismanagement and oppresion is enough.

The fiancial fraud involving hundreds of billions of rakyat’s money in BMF,PKFZ,Perwaja,Maminco,Martrade building,InventaQ Jaya,Half-crooked bridge in JB etc, bailouts of cronies and son’s company namely MAS,Renong,Konsortium Perkapalan Bhd as well as the terror and daylight robbery under the reign of Toyo’s Selangor State government speaks volumes why BN should be dumped.

The rakyat has had enough from the present corrupted, unethical and over religious government.
Just look at actions and judgement from our so called judiciary, PDRM and MACC gave one indication on where is justice, fairness and integrity. To us RAKYAT, practically none. A big fat ZERO I should say.
We are the silent majority and we support PKR especially Teresa and his terrific team.
