Police crach vigil watch, nab 13 (so far)

Posted on Wednesday, 20-05-2009 by Teresa

At least 13 people mourning the demise of democracy in Perak were arrested during a vigil in front of my Seputeh office tonight.

Those arrested included Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching and Teratai state assembly member Jenice Lee, both from the DAP, and are being taken to the Brickfield Police Station.

The police have come earlier at about 7pm to ‘advise’ against holding the vigil.

I have posted my comments ( in Knock, Knock, 5) last night on this shameless and unwarranted actions and arrests of Serdang MP YB Teo Nie Ching and Teratai assemblywoman YB Jenice Lee and a dozen others by the police on their peaceful and democratic candelight vigil on ‘The Demise Of Democracy’ in Perak in front of your Seputeh office. After viewing the video, I am more angry and bewildered of the manner in which the police carried out the arrests. The OCPD of Brickfields and his men had shown their true colours of being highly bias and acted beyond reasonbleness. It was just a quiet and peaceful vigil. How absurd it was to see the two law-makers being high-handedly arrested without due respect by the law-enforcers. The police are super-fast in arresting opposition politicians for no mere reasons but super-slow in combating increasing crimes in the country. Shame to the police!

jantan berani tangkap politikus perempuan sahaja
    penyamun, perogol pula dibiarkanberleluasa sahaja
