I am leading a delegation of a number of Selangor state government companies to attend the Central China Expo at Hefei from 26th April 2009.
I met with the Director General of the Department of Asian Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of China and requested him to encourage Chinese businesses to invest in Selangor. I shared with him the many advantages of investing in Selangor.

由雪州高级行政议员郭素沁率领的雪州政府代表团，受中国对外贸易经济合作企业协会的邀请，今天在安徽省出席第四届中国中部投资贸易博览会。中国商务部亚洲司司长吕克俭于昨日在合肥市会见了郭素沁率领的马来西亚雪州代表团一行6人。
中国中部地区六省包括山西、安徽、江西、河南、湖北、湖南，总人口 3.61
亿，该区域自然、文化和旅游资源丰富，科教基础较好；拥有比较雄厚的工业基础，是中国重要的农产品、能源、原材料和装备制造业基地。中国中部投资贸易博览会，将搭建中部地区扩大对外开放、加强国际交流合作的重要平台，为中外双方提供共同发展的商机。
第四届中部博览会围绕汽车及装备制造、旅游、节能环保、高新技术、文化等重点行业，突出中部区域特色，通过投资贸易展览、引资项目推介、专项合作洽谈和经济论坛等多种形式，为中外客商搭建经济技术交流与合作的平台。
郭素沁在会见中国商务部官员时，详细介绍了雪州目前的投资环境和各种优惠措施，并特别强调雪州将为中国投资者提供更友善及高效率的服务配套。
吕克俭司长表示，雪兰莪州是中国对外投资的好地方，他自己曾多次前往马来西亚，对当地环境有所了解。他当即指示在场的商务部官员，通过加强中国企业与雪州方面的往来与对接，鼓励更多中国企业在雪州找到适合的投资机会与合作伙伴。会谈结束时，吕克俭司长还以马来语
“Terima Kasih”向雪州代表团一行道别。
雪州代表团一行包括来自雪州发展局、雪州投资服务中心以及英达岛发展中心等机构的官员。

Good job done, YB, for inviting enterpreneurs and businessmen from China to invest in Selangor which is Malaysia’s frontline state on foreign investments. Both countries can mutually benefit from such investments. China is the place to look for a pot of gold!
The Selangor state government under Pakatan Rakyat can prove and show by deeds that it is capable of attracting large foreign investments to the state which will be to the envy of states under the BN!

Teresa and her team has done us proud. This what we call work with and for the people. Not like that sleepy flip flop toothless ex-PM who just talked “work with me” only. And he just did that, a BIG FAT ZERO!!.
The rakyat really appreciate Teresa and his team hard work and sacrifices. Hope you folks are successful in getting investments from China for not only Selangor but for the country as well.

Selangor is fortunate to have a ‘workaholic’ exco in YB Teresa Kok who is the most ideal person (fluent in Mandarin) to lead a trade delegation to China. Every body’s main concern nowadays is jobs, jobs, and jobs…and hope the delegation would yield good results. China still manages a 6-8 % economic growth rate, and every country value their trade and economic relationship with China.
The PR government at least can perform better than the previous one led by KT. The difference is that KT reportedly took the opportunities of his overseas trips to take along his family members and maid, too. KT should feel ashamed of himself when seeing that the delegation made up of 6 members only, including YB Teresa Kok.
