I went to Nirvana memorial hall to pay respect to Datuk Lai Ming, a former popular Malaysian actress yesterday.
Datuk Lai Ming used to stay in United Garden in my parliamentary constituency.
I know about her since my childhood days when she played the role of a Hakka speaking aunty in “Empat Sekawan” in the weekly drama programme. The TV programme during that time was still black and white.
Datuk Lai Ming was the spokesperson of Nirvana. The company has put in a lot of efforts to give tribute to her.
