I was invited by Right Rev Bishop Charles Samuel from the Penang Anglican Church to speak in St George’s Church in Penang yesterday. It was a new experience for me to attend two different types of service in that church. I shared with the church members on my views and experience on mission in East Malaysia, and requested them to pray for the country.
I appreciate the openness of tBishop Charles for inviting me to speak to his congregation. This invitation also push me to read the Bible to look for suitable quotes.
I asked the MP for Bukit Mertajam, Steven Sim to join me for the Sunday service. He came with his wife and kid to the church. To my surprise, he proposed to his wife in the compound of St George’s Church few years ago.
St George’s Church in Penang is a 200-year-old building. It is considered a heritage building in Penang.
May God bless the Bishop and all the members of St George’s Church in their mission works.
