I read Tony Tan’s statement which accused Tony Pua’s wife of stashing RM3million abroad with abhorrence and disgust. I described him as “rascal” in my FB because he was and he is a rascal.
I must correct the mistake made by most journalists when they describe him as my former PA. I wish to reiterate here that this man has NEVER EVER been my PA, he was only one of the former volunteer assistants in my DAP Seputeh service center for about two years.
He doesn’t understand the English language but only understands Chinese and can only speak broken Bahasa Malaysia.
He was formerly a MCA member, he came over to the DAP after he apparently failed to get higher compensation for the squatters at the 4th mile Old Klang Road during the road expansion programme in 2001–2003.
When he was in DAP Seputeh, he was a nuisance and there were also allegations of financial improprieties against him in running programs in the party. He has also pitting members against each other. In the end, I had no choice but to finally terminate his services.
After he left my service centre, he got involved in some temples in my constituency. A year later, a Chinese temple committee member one (Chi Yuan Gong) came to me and complained about Tony Tan’s mishandling of the temple’s funds. I then exposed it to the media together with members of the temple committee.
Tony Tan then sued me and the temple committe members for defamation. He has changed a few lawyers and he finally lost the case and substantial cost was awarded to me. I then proceeded to execute the court’s decision against him and finally got the court to adjudge him a bankrupt when he could not pay.
In short, Tony Tan is morally and financially bankrupt. He slandered me during my General Elections 12 & 13 campaign. He also went around defaming other DAP leaders.
After GE13, an old lady came to my office and complained that a man who claimed to be my assistant has rented her double-story house in OUG for more than half a year but never paid rent. I then discovered that this man was Tony Tan.
I strongly believe that he is being paid by BN to defame me and other DAP leaders. This is how he survives … a BN stooge.
I just wish to urge the media not to credit him with the designation as “Teresa Kok’s former PA” when describing him in future news reports. Please …….thank you
