Yesterday I took my DAP members to distribute mandarin oranges and my pocket calendar card to constituents in OUG wet market and the coffee shops near by.
This morning we went to United Garden to do the similar walkabout.
It was not that crowded in the coffee shops and markets compared to the days prior to Chinese New Year. some shops were even closed, This is because some shops were opened during the first few days of CNY, so they take a break now.
I almost finished doing my walkabout in all the morning markets in Seputeh constituency by now.
I have printed 5,000 pieces of pocket calendar to be given away when I do my walkabout. This is to ensure that I will at least meet up with 5,000 people during the CNY walkabout.
Some constituents showed me my last year pocket calendar which they have kept in their wallet. My calendar card is worth keeping, because I have put in many important complaint telephone numbers, such as hotline of DBKL, Police station, hospital etc………
Today I walked in to an Indian doctor’s clinic (Poliklinik United) at United Garden. The Doctor, Dr Ranjit Manocha came out to greet me. He is a friendly doctor, I told him that I have been coughing with phelm for a month, he immediately gave me some medicine to reduce the inflammation of my throat. Thanks to him. I hope I will get well soon, so that I can eat mandarin oranges :-))
