The BN government has long denied Malaysians the right to peacefully assemble. All kinds of excuses are given, usually relating to claims that any big rally will end up in chaos and violence. The recent Himpunan Kebangkitan Rakyat has proven them wrong. It was a historical breakthrough. Teresa argues that peaceful rallies are always possible provided the police force do not adopt a heavy-handed approach in dealing with the participants. The HKR rally also proves that Malaysians are mature and can behave responsibly even in groups of 100,000 and more.
Now that it is proven that peaceful rally can be held in K.L., Najib is crediting that the peaceful is due to his reformation policy/ What a bus load of bull and cow shits ? For decades now the scumbags and parasites in Umno were giving all kind of lame excuses why peaceful rallies were not given. They just don’t have the decency to admit the suppression these morons have been using to impede the many rallies that were planned.
One thing for sure is, this time round because the GE it is just roundmthe corner, the uprising rally was allowed. Even then the permission from their lackeys, who are managing the stadium, took a long time to come. Also the police tried at the last minute to have the venue changed, all these if they are not attempts to make it difficult for the organisers to plan for a proper rally, what is ? So Najib stop lying that you are trying to reform, can a leopard change its spots ? Just enjoy the glamour that the premiership brings until you have to announce the dates for the GE. You and the rest of your morons’ days are numbered, period.
The peaceful assembly was allowed because the hardliners within the ruling party had been proven to have failed to quell the will of the people by intimidations and oppressive means. Above all else, all the spins and propaganda by the MSMs fell flat on their faces.
Perhaps one of the reasons why they laid off this rally was the fact that since all the previous rallies were ones where the participants were whacked properly and perhaps they thought that Malaysians should be afraid to attend any more rallies.
Well, they guessed wrongly!
And the result was really a sight to behold!!!!
