Wao!! I just can’t imagine we can fill up Stadium Merdeka and we have equally big crowd outside the stadium too.
When I was asked what’s the turnout, I said it was easily 100k+. The rally told us that peaceful assembly can be carried out in Kuala Lumpur. This peaceful assembly is the fruit of the struggle of the courageous people in the Bersih 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.
Without these previous mass gathering, without the sacrifice of those people who have been beaten up by police, without the hundred of thousands of people who strongly criticised the brutality of police and demand for freedom of assembly, there won’t be such peaceful rally.
I hope the police won’t do unnecessary things like investigating why the turnout more than 30k people, why bring “offensive wording” banner and people who bring kids etc. Please, cukup lah!! Let’s have a good ending for this rally. Bangkit bangkit, Bangkit Rakyat!!
Congrats to those brave rakyat who overcame fear and marched peacefully to the stadium.It demonstrated and proven that what happened in previous rallies, the interruptions were the work of those with bad intentions. When you get the full cooperation from pdrm, even candle light vigil will be peaceful and incident free now. The number of people participated is secondary as the rally had proven that all along the matured and enlightened rakyat can march and protest peacefully.
The number of people that attended the rally as depicted in the photos must be a worry for Umno. These are only for an event held in K.L., what if it was held throughout Malaysia ? If Najib and the morons of the present regime have any human feeling at all it is time, it may be too late for them, to think of what and where they have gone wrong. Instead of coming up with all sort of excuses on the number who attended the rally.
It must enough for Najib and all the morons to worry and also to consider the feeling of the people. After all they are all Malaysians who are trying to demonstrate their feeling and their ability to hold a peaceful demonstration. It also showed and prove to everyone that all the violence shown in the past demonstrations were really caused and started by the police. A further proof of what Umno lackeys were and are up to !
Time to change and for the people to have a new administration in Putrajaya, after all these scumbags and parasites are given 56 years to prove their worth. Instead they have abused the trust and the chances given to them !
