Teresa Kok blast Hisham over ‘dirty’ Teo remark
Aug 31, 10 2:18pm
Seputeh MP and DAP publicity secretary Teresa Kok has lashed out at Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein for describing fellow DAP parliamentarian Teo Nie Ching as “dirty” and her visit to suraus as a “disaster” for the Muslim community.
In a statement issued today, the senior Selangor exco (right) said Hishammuddin has sunk to “a new low” and displayed the hypocrisy of his character in the terms he used to describe Teo, who is Serdang member of parliament.
“I question where Hishamuddin received the knowledge and moral authority to judge anyone to be dirty, least of all Teo Nie Ching, who entered the surau in sincerity and with an open heart, and only because the surau leaders invited her in.
“She has already issued a humble public apology to all concerned.
“I shudder to think (whether) Hishamuddin considers Teo Nie Ching dirty because she is non-Muslim, or simply because she is female.
“Hishamuddin should look in the mirror to check if he himself is spotless and clean before judgment on others,” said Kok.
Hishammuddin was reported yesterday as having said he was shocked that Teo had the support of PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat over her visit to a surau in Serdang, voicing concern that the incident could confuse Muslims.
“Teo had no business to be inside Surau Al-Huda as she was deemed dirty but Nik Aziz said its alright, we are modern now. What disaster can we expect next?” said the Umno vice-president.
Hishammuddin also said it was clear that DAP was adopting an extreme approach by questioning the rights and privileges defended by Malay leaders and the rulers.
Kok said the minister’s remarks has not only betrayed his holier-than-thou attitude towards Teo and the 1Malaysia concept of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, but was fanning the flames of discount among non-Muslims.
“Hishamuddin’s statement smacks of a holier-than-thou hypocrisy and is truly shameful for a cabinet minister who propogates this 1Malaysia concept which supposedly espouses unity among all Malaysians.
“With that disparaging statement, Hishamuddin is once again fanning the flames of racial discontent like how he openly supported the Shah Alam cow head protestors last September. He backtracked later only upon public uproar,” said Kok.
She called for the minister to retract immediately his statement and issue a public apology to Teo.
Failing this, said Kok, he and 1Malaysia will forever have no credibility in the eyes of the public.

ORANG UMNO DAH BANYAK MAKAN DUIT KORUP KEPALA OTAK PON DAH JADI KORUP………
The Home Minister should check this fact first….. why are the non-muslim tourists allowed to enter and tour the masjid jamek KL? strange eh that the govt has two set of rules….or is is it because the minister is totally ignorant of his own religion.I’m not surprised as he was educated abroad and his knowledge in his religion is so…so.He blabbers a lot but as the saying goes….empty vessel makes the most sound. Of late he is seen as a religious and concerned Muslim and more muslim than the others.
TG Aziz is a highly learned Islamic scholar and highly respected by all MUslims excluding of course the UMNO muslims and he knows what he’s talking.Another respected Islamic scholar Dr. Asri(ex-mufti of Perlis echoed the same.Go and ask other international scholars and see what the answers are….period! oh..oh.I forgot,had he sought advice from that ….mufti…harussani???
Strange though that a Home Minister in charged of home affairs chose to fanning the flames of racial and religion sentiments in desperation to hold on to power. I believe other Muslims who adhered to the true teaching of Islam abhor this insanity of the desperadoes.
Let morons be morons. For GE13 sake, stay very, very cool. They are trying ways and means to start Lalang 2. Majority of the rakyat are waiting for GE13 to arrive. History has proven that no empire or ruling party can last forever.
To the Minister,
Ever heard of these ‘ Judge not and you will not be judged ‘
and ‘it always takes one to recognise another’.
You are a bloody disgrace to your late father and a real disgrace to the Malaysian cabinet and worst of all a real disgrace to the muslims !
How can you help to promote Islam on what you do ?
Following his logic, most UMNO leaders should probably be banned from entering suraus and mosques.
With their womanising, drinking and corruption; these UMNO leaders make the “kafirs” look like angels.
Teo Nie Ching is dirty, you say. Hishammudin should take a long hard look at himself in the mirror and his colleagues in UMNO.
Those without sin should be the ones that throw the stones first !
So……
Teo is dirty or more correctly female is dirty;
Nik Aziz is dirty; Anwar is dirty;
Lim G E is dirty; Zaid is dirty;
DAP is dirty;
PAS is dirty;
PKR is dirty.
but,
Hishamuddin is clean but the mirror is dirty;
Perkasa is clean;
Ling is clean; Chua is clean;
Samy is clean;
Umno is clean;
MCA is clean;
MIC is clean.
I wonder why Rakyat still opt for the dirty three – DAP, PKR & PAS – in Selangor, Trengganu, Kelantan, Kedah, Penang and Perak?
OOP! Perak?
It is BN’s clean tactic that BN took over Perak, Stupid!
I must confess, i prefer to be dirty than clean as defined by hisham!
