Bung Mokhtar’s jail time for polygamy serves as a good lesson to all elected representatives and politicians that they must uphold the sanctity of marriage, respect the law and respect their wives of their first marriage.
In the past, DAP women MPs have repeatedly argued with Kinabatangan MP Bung Mokhtar and Sri Gading MP Mohamad Aziz on their sexist and degrading remarks, and on the issue of poligamy and “one husband one wife” but these two MPs have always taken our advice as a joke.
Bung Mokhtar is not laughing anymore as he finally faces the consequences of his disloyalty to his first wife. The egg on Bung’s face is a serious blow to his image. As an MP as he should be a lawmaker, not a lawbreaker!
I guess he may be dropped as an MP during the next round of general elections due to his misconduct.

May 19, 2010KUALA LUMPUR, May 19 — Syariah Judge Wan Mahyuddin Wan Muhammad today sentenced Kinabatangan Member of Parliament Datuk Bung Moktar Radin to one month’s jail for committing polygamy without the consent of court.
Wan Mahyuddin said that court needed to impose severe punishment so that that the public would respect the institution of marriage, and to serve as a lesson for those that did not respect the Islamic legal system. (continued..)

After, they can “bungkus” this bum, literally, and his new so called home breaker actress and throw them to the sea.
