Umno Youth thugs mob Karpal

Posted on Thursday, 26-02-2009 by Teresa Media

There was drama in Parliament House this afternoon when angry Umno Youth thugs surrounded Karpal Singh and threatened him. Karpal had to phone his colleagues who were inside the House to ask for help. PR MPs dashed to his aid and two MPs were assaulted.

Irony is, Hisham today gave a public speech about youth rejecting violence. What a sick joke!

Karpal mobbed

DAP chairperson Karpal Singh was today mobbed by a crowd of angry Umno Youth members at the Parliament lobby, wanting him to apologise for his remarks and accusation made against the movement yesterday, reports MALAYSIAKINI.

In the incident which happened at about 2.30pm, the angry Umno Youth members stopped Karpal from entering the House.

About 20 to 30 Umno Youth members were involved. They were believed to be from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Karpal then made a telephone call to his party colleague Fong Pu Kuan who was in the House. She then arrived with other DAP MPs to ‘save’ the DAP chairperson from the crowd.

The DAP MPs also complained that the Parliament security personnel had not done anything to protect Karpal until they (the DAP MPs) made some noise.

DAP MP Lim Lip Eng also claimed that he was assaulted by the Umno Youth crowd.

      Pity to rakyat!
      Pity to Pakatan Rakyat!

      Hidup rakyat!
      Hidup Pakatan Rakyat!

Quite disappoint once heard idea of ISA (will) against K.Singh!

Quite confuse a ‘saman’ as received today:

      Date/Time/Place of offence
      : year of 2005,
: jln. sultan ismail, offence under “RULE 16(1) LN 166/59 MELETAK KENDERAAN MENYEBABKAN HALANGAN YANG TIDAK DIKEHENDAKI, offer to compound : RM70.00”?

YB, the abovementioned offence rule was unclear to me… is there any alternative way to verify its’ validity? Meanwhile, please be informed that most of friends (and neighbor) of mine suspected of having committed an offence too…

      Your response is highly appreciated…

      TQ.
      Warmest regards.

Great to be back. Here i quote one blogger comments on that “Oxfart” bum and his zombies from UMNO:-

“In this scenario, Umno youth should get their facts right. If they say ‘Singh celaka’ then they would be referring and hurting all Sikhs in Malaysia. However, if they say Karpal ‘celaka’, then they are referring to him only.

In addition, Umno Youth exco member Reezan Merican Nainan Merican should not blow the issue out of proportion as not all Malays were hurt or angered when the veteran politician labelled Umno Youth as celaka.

Umno can no longer claim that they represent all Malays in Malaysia so please get your story straight.

As a Malay Muslim I was ashamed to see 20 Umno Youth members ganging-up on a wheelchair-bound man. This is not right and is in fact very un-Islamic.

The facts speak for themselves. The rakyat is watching. Challenging the veteran politician to speak up outside of Parliament and then challenging him outside is a cowardly act by Khairy Jamaluddin who has kept up with his reputation as being the ‘Mat Rempit King’.

I am Malay and a Muslim. I do not associate myself with Umno Youth. I am not angered nor hurt in any manner. There are many others like me who would agree with Karpal Singh.”
I was particularly interested in this writer because he ‘she is a Malay. If we have only 10%, i repeat just 10% of this moderate and outward looking attitude type of Malays in Malaysia, I believe we would have been a fantastic country.
We beat Singapore, Hong Kong hands down. I aint joking.
