Yesterday I chaired a meeting in the DBKL Seputeh office with more than 30 officers. It was my first time chairing such a meeting after becoming the MP for Seputeh for 19 years. I am able to chair such meeting as I am in the government now, and the officers are not afraid to be seen with me in open.
The head of DBKL Seputeh office Syatar briefed me the various functions of the office, and he told me that I can organise various social programmes by using the allocation of DBKL Seputeh.
In that meeting, I then realise when I submit complaint letter to DBKL HQ at Jalan Raja Laut, I should keep a copy of the complaint letter to the Seputeh branch office, so that they can follow up.
It was a good meeting. We have fixed the date and time for Buka Puasa and Hari Raya for DBKL Seputeh too. I look forward to work closer with the DBKL Seputeh office, so that we can resolve more local problems In future.
